The Little Plant
In the heart of a seed,
Buried deep so deep,
A tiny plant
Lay fast asleep.
"Wake," said the sunshine,
"And creep to the light."
"Wake," said the voice
Of the raindrops bright.
The little plant heard
And it rose to see,
What the wonderful,
Outside world might be.

In May of last year, my high school went to Red River Gorge, Kentucky. One day, I made the mistake of spending the afternoon in Lexington. But at least I got some nice photos.

"In the garden
Tulips grow
Straight and golden
In a row.
Each one holds its
Empty cup
Drinking rain and
Sunshine up.”

Baby birds from my grandma’s plant this past summer. I got to watch them hatch and grow up, it was quite the experience.
My favourite part was when I watched them take their first flight.
